  • A friend and I were cycling the Hadrians Cycleway, day one was Ravenglass to Easton. At first the weather was ok,however it turned progressively awful.Eventually we arrived at Midtown Farm, all the saturated clothing was placed in the drying room. The room itself was superb not only ensuite but a hip bath too, plus lots of coffee, tea and hot chocolate and biscuits. Next morning, breakfast was of biblical proportions, the choice and quality were superb. Would recommend the Midtown Farm without any reservation.

  • We needed a stopover travelling between Aberdeen and Derbyshire and we had not visited this corner of Cumbria before. It is lovely here with history from Hadrian's wall to the Victorian seaside town of Silloth and the Railway , Canal and port at Port Carlise, also plenty of Wildlife at the RSPB ite nearby. Hosts are very welcoming and produce a fabulous breakfast, including Gluten free. One very friendly cat.
